Karla Grima – Secretary : Contact Me
Karla has been diving for the past 12 years as she started off signing onto a PADI Open Water course with some colleagues at work. During the OW course, the school she was at had a charter organised to the Polynesian wreck and upon their return the divers where narked out of their faces … Having seen their exhilaration she was determined to dive the Polynesian “one day” ….
A number of courses later and hundreds of dives under her belt she was diving the Polynesian on a mixed gas back gas and decompressing on Nitrox …
In 2004 Karla challenged herself and became a PADI Advanced Open Water Instructor together with one of her colleagues who had been on her first Open Water Course.
Moving on Karla took on instruction on an AP closed circuit rebreather and started her dive training from scratch, learning new skills and techniques along the way …
One or two words of advice she will stand by are, plan the dive & dive the plan, don’t push yourself, the wrecks and the sea are going nowhere …
Certified PADI AOWI, TDI Open and Closed Circuit Advanced Trimix Diver.
