Sunday 27th – Munxar Reef [ Recreational ] – 10.30am [ Marsascala ]

Weather permitting, next Sunday the 27th September, we will be having a second trip to Munxar Reef.

RHIB will be leaving Marsascala Jetty at 10.30am : Recreational Divers

Average Depth: 25 metres
Maximum Depth: 40 metres

The Dive:
The reef extends about 700m in an East North East direction. On the North and South side of the reef the bottom drops to approximately 30 metres. Munxar Rock which is located approximately 200m East North East of Il-Munxar is 10 metres below the surface, it has numerous caves and cuts where the Dusky Perches and Moray Reels habitat. Numerous large fish and octopus are normally sighted here.
